September 11th

I'd just like you all to take a few moments of silence to remember those who lost lives and saved lives in the September 11th terrorist attack.

Seven years ago today, five planes were hijacked, aiming at the US's most prized buildings. The Pentagon, World Trade Center, White House, and Capitol Building. The most remembered planes were the ones that struck the Twin Towers on September 11th, 2001 at about 8:15 in the morning. The other struck the Pentagon about an hour later. The one aimed for the W.H. crashed into the ground, and was known as "The Flight that Fought Back", Flight 119. It is unknown what happened to the plane aimed at the Capitol Building.

It is on this day, Seven years ago, that those innocent people perished after doing nothing wrong. Let us bow our heads in solitude.

Me too. If you don't mind, I edited your post to give a little more background on what happened on that day, incase some of you needed a refresher.

I think Kranendonk lives in Australia so e probally won't know about it but I do.....it was a sad day.

Yea...I had people in my class who's parents almost took Flight 94..

Yea no kiddin'...I think even one person's parent was actually killed on one of the planes...
