Star Wars: Clone Wars

I saw the new SW movie and I thought it was good. It filled in some gaps from Ep.II to Ep.III, some about Obi and Anakin, and it told about Ahsoka too. It's definately not like the original Star Wars movies, but yet, it isn't really supposed to be. It's supposed to be sort of like a trailer leading into the '08 cartoon series. And it did just that.

Was it bad?It looked sort of rediculous to me.

I am going to see it in about 30 minutes and I heard it was OK, but it's Star Wars, how can it only be OK? I never did see the second animated Clone Wars one yet though.

Edit: I just saw it and I thought it was pretty good. I thought all the fight scenes with the clones were awesome. (Cody and the Blue clone were awesome) Asoka or whatever her name was was also cool. The only annoying part was how the makers tried to make it funny, which doesnt really go along with a Star Wars movie too well. That's it! I'd give it 3.5/5.

Yeah I mean it wasn't bad, although yeah they put some humor, especially with the droids, making them stupid lol. The great thing about it was it got right to the action and had non-stop fighting

Ya, any of that was awesome. I thought the entire first fight of the movie was cool. I have one question though. If Ahsoka just became a Padewon, how did she already know all the force and lightsaber moves?

not a star wars fan. I JUST WANT MY HARRY POTTER MOVIE!!! THIS IS STUPID WB HAS NOW REPLACED HP WITH TWILIGHT GRRRRR!

Nobody had better degrade me for this, but frankly, I REALLY hate the concept of an animated Star Wars. A perfectly good film; award winning, doorbusting, and they totally ruined it by making it animated. You know a show/movie is done for when you get a G-rated animated remake of it.

I think they made it animated cause they couldn't get everyone toegther for another movie.

No, it's the same movie; remade. They could get everyone together if they wanted, but somewhere along the line George Lucas said it was OK to make an animated film.

I think they can actually be pretty cool, though another with real people would really mess it up again. The first animated one is the best to me, even if I've only seen two, so try watching that. By the way, what's your top 3 favorite Star Wars movies. Mines 5,4,3.

Yeah...it's not the same movie remade (if you're talking about Ep.II)...totally different plot, but yeah, more fighting, which people like lol....I think this one was really meant more for kids...to do some more introducing of the new generation to Star Wars...but if they got the same real people to do the movie, even with makeup, wouldn't they look too old to be younger than they were in Ep.III? And yeah I heard in an interview that this wasn't meant to be put into theaters originally....they just decided it was good enough to do so at the last minute. Plus, NO ONE is going to consider this part of the original great saga anyways...so it didn't ruin it, cuz it's not a part of it. Fav SW movies: 3, 4, and 6.

Still, star wars animated still looks kind of stupid... No offense to other opinions.

It's not stupid, just different and not as good as per say the original star wars saga.

I guess I think they wrecked it by making it 'kid friendly'. Star Wars was perfect with its PG-rated real actors, but now six-year-olds are going to see the animated version... That's what I don't like... -.-

It's not going to be ALL 6 year olds. They are just expanding the range from 6-however old you can think of lol. Hopefully they can pull off the Clone Wars series....after all, they made a few previously.
